BSinger-actress Seol In Ah will have her immediate small screen return in the forthcoming KBS period K-drama "Oasis." Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon is currently in talks to join the actress.
Seol In Ah Returns With New KBS Drama 'Oasis'
According to a media report on May 26, Seol In Ah is confirmed to lead the KBS historical series "Oasis." The drama is set in the turbulent times in Korea from1980 to 1990. It follows the story of young people who face a reality that forces them to abuse power, wealth, and manipulate wrong social values.
Seol In Ah will portray the role of Oh Jung Shin, also known as Sophia. Her character was born in 1961, Shin's parents own and run the Namhae Theater. After moving to Seoul, she meets Doo Hak and Chul Woong in her new school in Yeosu.
As she spends time with Doo Hak, she develops a special feelings for him, but one day, he has to leave their hometown, which gives Oh Jung Shin a big heartbreak. Because of their tearful farewell, Shin decides to revive the theater industry of her parents.
Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon who was also courted to lead the play is currently positively considering the drama offer.

This 2022, In Ah also transferred into a new agency, Gold Medalist, a home to some of the shining stars in entertainment namely, Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji, Choi Hyun Wook, Kim Sae Ron, and more.
Meanwhile, her new agency shared that Seol In Ah is receiving lots of advertising offers these days. But fans are more excited for the actress' acting transformation on her potential drama comeback with Jang Dong Yoon.
KBS' "Oasis" will be penned by Jung Hyung Woo, the creative mine who wrote the series "Jumong," "Dream," and "The Jingbirok: A Memoir of Imjin War."
On the other hand, if Jang Dong Yoon accept the drama offer for "Oasis," it will be his first drama with Seol In Ah after five years following campus romance series "School 2017."
