The Choi Dong Hoon-directed sci-fi film "Alien" will conquer the big screens this summer.
Prior to its release, the production unit of the movie held a press conference at the Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom in Yeouido, Seoul.
It was attended by sterling stars Kim Tae Ri, Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, So Ji Sub, Lee Honey, Yeom Jung Ah, Jo Woo Jin, and director Choi Dong Hoon.
"Alien" is a sci-fi film that follows the story of the mysterious happenings that occur when a portal binds the Taoists from the Goryeo Dynasty and the modern world, chasing down an alien inside a human body.
Unbeknownst to many, "Alien" marks Kim Tae Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol's second time working together after their healing film "Little Forest" in 2018.
Kim Tae Ri expressed her gratitude to Ryu Jun Yeol for being one of her pillars at work. According to the actress, she depended on her co-star, especially when she got the jitters.

Meanwhile, Ryu Jun Yeol didn't feel extreme nervousness as he saw a familiar face and depended on Kim Tae Ri.
"The first filming made me very nervous," Kim Tae Ri shared. "But because Ryu Jun Yeol was there, I relaxed and became more comfortable."
"Filming became fun and easy because of Kim Tae Ri, so I am really thankful for her," Ryu Jun Yeol commented.

In the drama, Kim Tae Ri takes on the role of Lee Ahn, a woman who possesses a pistol that can shoot thunder.
Because of its entertaining elements, Kim Tae Ri didn't hesitate to appear in the film. She said, "If there's one thing I consider before taking on a new role, it's entertainment value and fun."
In particular, Kim Tae Ri shows her dedication about her work as she revealed that she learned how to properly hold firearms, swords and more to synchronize with the role.
She also learned shooting, martial arts, and basic gymnastics. Meanwhile, Ryu Jun Yeol instantly fell in love with the work after reading the script.
Since he doesn't do many quirky yet dominant characters, he immediately accepted the role to further widen his acting spectrum.
