From a K-Pop Idol Trainee to Kdrama Heartthrob
Before being known as "Money Heist Korea's" Denver, Kim Ji Hoon started his career as a Kpop trainee.
He joined SM. At the time, the agency wanted to create their version of Korean F4. Instead, of becoming an idol, however, he debuted as an actor.
"When I entered the entertainment company, Girls' Generation and TVXQ were still trainees. I wanted to become a singer, but since I couldn't sing, I changed into an actor," he said, as obtained by an outlet. He added, "The actor management just began at our company and so I became their first actor."
Interestingly, he has a video dancing to EXO's "Growl" during his appearance in "Jang Bo Ri Is Here."

Adding to the list of his skills, he is also a VJ on the variety show "Hotline" in 2001 and after a year, he had his first-ever Kdrama appearance for "Loving You" starring Park Yong Ha and "The Penthouse" star Eugene.
Kim Ji Hoon Workout: How to be Fit Like the 'Money Heist Korea' Star?
Who would have thought that Kim Ji Hoon is 41 as the actor often shows off his perfectly chiseled body in episodes of "Money Heist Korea"?
According to an outlet, the South Korean star aims for that "slim fit" built and not too over the top.
To achieve this, he has a relatively strict intermittent fasting and exercises schedule.
As seen on his Instagram, Kim Ji Hoon's workout routines consist of lifting weights, cardio exercises, pull-up bars, and more.
However, in November 2021, he revealed on his social media that he had been off the gym for two months. An injury caused this.
In a lengthy caption, he said that he restricted himself from workout and had to focus on his recovery.
"I lost a lot of weight just by looking at it, right? It's not a serious injury, but the right rear deltoid muscle was not functioning properly, so I was afraid it would take longer to recover after trying too hard," he said.
He added, "For two months, I've been 'almost' refraining from 'hardly' exercise. I've only devoted myself to treatment and recovery (now I'm up about 60 percent, and I'm starting to weigh lightly.)."
Kim Ji Hoon also gave his followers advice saying not to overdo things.
As for his secret to looking young at 41, he said that it's all about "steady exercise."
He explained its benefits, saying, "exercise raises the heart rate, sweats enough, helps the circulation of cardiovascular and lymphatic systems throughout the body, stimulates muscles throughout the body, stimulates nerve bundles in the brain." This makes people healthier and livelier.
