The Hallyu star took to social media and showed how stunned he was to see the iconic golden boot award.

On Gong Yoo's Instagram, he posted a photo of himself carrying the Premier League presents the Golden Boot award, which was given to Son Heung Min after scoring the most goals in that campaign.

"I hope you're always healthy!" he wrote.

Interestingly, the "Silent of Sea" star is not the first Hallyu celebrity to fanboy over Son Heung Min's award.

Park Seo Joon also posted his encounter with the top athlete and took a snap at the golden boot award.

To recall, during the premiere of JTBC's "My Liberation Notes," Gong Yoo took to Instagram and shared the official poster of the Kdrama with a caption that said, "I worship you," referencing an iconic line from the series.

In a separate Instagram post, he also encouraged his followers to watch the melodrama amid the low viewership rating during the premiere.

It seems like Gong Yoo's support paid off as "My Liberation Notes," which stars Son Seok Koo, Lee Min Ki, ha Ji Won, and Lee El reigned as the Most Buzzworthy Drama and Actor rankings for weeks.

Moreover, the Hallyu star is a total vibe when he posted a photo of labelmate Nam Joo Hyuk on his Instagram, as he gushes over the "Twenty Five Twenty One" star.

In addition, Gong Yoo showed his support to fellow stars by sending Lee Dong Wook and Kim Go Eun coffee trucks on the set of their Kdramas.

The trio starred in the hit rom-com fantasy series "Goblin" where Gong Yoo played the once unbeatable general in Goryeo's military, Kim Shin who became a goblin and lived for hundred years looking for his bride.
