Kim Tae Ri Reveals Friendship With Ryu Jun Yeol
Ahead of "Alien" (also known as "Alienoid") release, director Choi Dong Hoon and cast members Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, Ryu Jun Yeol, So Ji Sub, Jo Woo Jin, Yum Jung Ah, and Kim Eui Sung gathered to attend the press conference and press preview on July 13 at the CGV Yongsan in Seoul.
During the interview, Kim Tae Ri talked about her close bond with actor Ryu Jun Yeol, whom she's been friends with for a long time. In fact, "Alien" marked their reunion project following "Little Forest" in 2018.
The "Twenty Five, Twenty One" actress shared that because of the strong friendship she has with him, they can immediately tell what the other one is thinking most of the time.
Kim Tae Ri added that Ryu Jun Yeol is a fellow companion and actor that she adores a lot.
The actor also showcased how close he and the "Mr. Sunshine" actress are while they are not at work. Ryu Jun Yeol said, "When we are not working (filming), Kim Tae Ri and I meet most of the time and talk about our difficulties and concerns."
Ryu Jun Yeol Helped Kim Tae Ri Overcome Difficulties While Filming 'Alien'
The "Reply 1988" star added that he is not the type of person to get anxious on set, which is the complete opposite of Kim Tae Ri.
Ryu Jun Yeol shared that on the first day of filming "Alien," the actress was very nervous. But he felt relieved after she expressed that thanks to him, she has somebody to rely on when things get tough.

Since Ryu Jun Yeol can film comfortably without any difficulties, he felt happy to know that he could be Kim Tae Ri's strength. He mentioned that apart from cheering each other up a lot, working together with his real-life friend Kim Tae Ri took his worries away and enjoyed filming the movie.
Meanwhile, "Alien" happens in the backdrop of a mysterious time portal that opens and connects Taoists from the Goryeo Dynasty looking for a legendary sword with the people in the present who are also chasing down alien prisoners that have been trapped in the human bodies.
The sci-fi movie is scheduled to premiere on July 20 in cinemas.
