After the massive success of "The Roundup" at the Korean box office, Ma Dong Seok will return in the highly anticipated movie "The Outlaws 3" with its new villain. According to Sports Chosun, the cast members, which comprises of old and new faces, have begun filming the third installment. Keep on reading for all the details.

As stated by the outlet, the cast and crew started filming "The Outlaws 3" on July 20, with Lee Sang Yong remaining as the director.

To recall, he was the assistant director in the 2017 "The Outlaws" but became the director in charge in the second installment, "The Roundup," alongside Kang Yoon Sun.

As for the upcoming third sequel, he will work alone with Big Punch Pictures Hong Film and BI Entertainment for production.

For "The Outlaws 3," Ma Dong Seok will reprise his role as the top-notch detective Ma Suk Do who is set to wipe out criminals in Incheon with its Geumcheonseo's strong team as they carry out a special mission.

Joining him is Lee Joon Hyuk as the new villain, Joo Sung Chul, with Japanese actor Aoki Munetaka as Yakuza Riki.

Apart from the trio, several new faces are set to appear in "The Outlaws 3" cast, which includes Lee Beom Soo, Kim Min Jae, "The Veil'' actor Jun Suk Ho, and Go Gyu Pil of "The King's Affection."

In the same outlet, "The Outlaws 3," director Lee Sang Yong said he is honored and delighted to work with the movie's third installment.

"I am very much looking forward to working with Ma Dong-Seok, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Aoki Munetaka," he added.

Meanwhile, Ma Dong Seok promised to give viewers a show-stopping and exciting film.

"I will repay you with a movie that is as interesting as many people expect," he mentioned, adding, "Please show interest and love for "The Outlaws 3."

As for the new villain, Lee Jun Hyuk shared how happy he is joining "good actors, directors and staff" of "The Outlaws 3."

"I'm really happy and excited to be doing "The Outlaws 3" together. It's just the beginning, but I hope that everyone can finish it safely without getting hurt until the end. I'll work hard and greet you with a good movie," the lead star mentioned.

To recall, the first installment of "The Outlaws" featured Yoon Kye Sang as the antagonist Jang Chen, a gang leader of the Chinese mainland called Black Dragon.

In the blockbuster sequel "The Roundup," viewers praised how Son Seok Koo portrayed his villain role of Gang Hae Sang, a South Korean who is victimizing tourists in Vietnam.

With this, the viewers were expecting more of Lee Joon Hyuk, especially since the two previous villains of "The Outlaws" showcased an impressive portrayal of antagonists.
