Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung's 'Hunt' To Be Screened in 144 Countries
Following his massive success for his pivotal role in the award-winning Netflix's original K-series "Squid Game," Lee Jung Jae expanded his career and pursued directing. With his first directorial film "Hunt," the "Chief of Staff" star partnered with actor and real-life friend Jung Woo Sung in which the two acted as directors and lead actors.
On August 1, Megabox Plus M, which is the company in charge of distributing the movie, announced that "Hunt" had been sold to 144 countries including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, and Thailand. The list consists of France, Italy, Germany, Latin, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, and more.
Ahead of its world release, Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung's "Hunt" is currently being advertised in Times Square in Manhattan, New York.

"Hunt" follows the story of the confrontation between Park Pyeong Ho (Lee Jung Jae) and Kim Jeong Do (Jung Woo Sung), who are agents at the National Security Agency and are tasked to find the Korean spy director sent to South Korea.
'Hunt's' International Presence Increases Ahead of Release
Before its long-awaited release on August 10 in cinemas, the Korean movie "Hunt" already garnered attention in Korea and in the international market.
In April, "Hunt" was officially invited to the 75th Cannes Film Festival, which immediately received global attention. The following month, the lead stars made their appearance at the prestigious event, received a 7-minute standing ovation, and conducted extensive interviews with multiple foreign media around the world, which helped promote the film ahead of its release.
In July of this year, "Hunt" made big headlines as the movie received an invitation to the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, which will open in September. In particular, the movie was invited to the Gala Presentation section.
It is the largest film festival in North America and is considered one of the world's four major international film festivals, along with Cannes, Berlin, and Venice International Film Festivals.
