Kim Go Eun, Lee Do Hyun in Talks To Star in 'The Unearthed Grave'
"Yumi's Cells" lead actress Kim Go Eun is reported to join the cast of the upcoming film "The Unearthed Grave" (working title). The movie will be helmed by Jang Jae Hyun, the man behind "Svaha: The Sixth Finger" and "The Priests."
Lee Do Hyun is also being courted to star in the forthcoming film. If both the artists accept the offers, it will be their first movie collaboration.
Veteran actor Choi Min Sik has been cast to portray the character of Ji Kwan, a geomancer who interprets markings on the ground, patterns, formed by tossed handfuls of rock, sand, or soil.

There are speculations that Kim Go Eun received an offer to play the shaman and Lee Do Hyun as the funeral director. Nevertheless, nothing has been confirmed yet regarding their potential characters.
On the other hand, it will be one of Kim Go Eun's surprising transformations to portray a role of a shaman, which is very different from her previous lovely and optimistic characters.
Meanwhile, "The Unearthed Grave" will mark Lee Do Hyun's silver screen debut once he decided to join the project.
What's Next For Kim Go Eun, Lee Do Hyun
Following the second sequel of the webtoon-based series "Yumi's Cells," Kim Go Eun is making her immediate drama return with "Little Women." She will star alongside Nam Ji Hyun and Park Ji Hoo. The drama is scheduled to premiere on September 3 and occupy the weekend slots on tvN.
Lee Do Hyun, on the other hand, is preparing to make a comeback this year with a new revenge drama, "The Glory," following the 2021 melodrama "Melancholia" and "Youth of May." He will share the frame with A-list star Song Hye Kyo.
It is also confirmed to release on the famous and giant online streaming platform Netflix. However, the production hasn't disclised yet the series' premiere date.
