In "Alchemy of Souls," Lee Jae Wook played the role of a powerful mage who was born with the King's Star, and is believed to save the world from chaos.
Lee Jae Wook extended his gratitude to fans who loved his character, Jang Uk, who grew into a reputable mage after being the social pariah in their magical realm.
Apart from his thought-evoking performance, Lee Jae Wook also focused on the scenes that require vigor like his adrenaline-inducing action scenes.
"I thought I wouldn't be able to do it," the actor admitted. "I was a little surprised but I'm glad that I showed a realistic performance."

As for his most favorite scenes in the drama, Lee Jae Wook chose the part in episode 3 where he was hit a hundred times, and even collapsed due to the exhaustion.

When asked which actor Jang Uk had the most chemistry with, Lee Jae Wook chooses Jung So Min who acted as his love interest in the first half of the series.
According to the actor, they shared a different kind of understanding among their co-stars. Jung So Min, who's eight years his senior, also guided the young actor in perfecting his portrayal of Jang Uk.
In addition to that, Lee Jae Wook also loved his bromance with the Crown Prince, played by Shin Seung Ho, which he didn't expect to be so well-received by the fans.
As the story of "Alchemy of Souls" is not over yet, Lee Jae Wook promises to meet viewers once again in December, delivering a brand new story filled with revenge, wrath and longing.
