Fans are expecting Kim Seon Ho and BLACKPINK's Jisoo to bag major recognition at the upcoming Seoul International Drama Awards 2022. According to a news portal the duo are set to score new achievements after ranking first place in poll votes.

The news comes after the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" star and the K-Pop star took the top spot as Actor and Actress with "Outstanding Performance of Korean Drama of the Year."
Kim Seon Ho and BLACKPINK's Jisoo reigned the rankings after the committee opened the voting polls on August 1.
Per the outlet, this is to determine who among the celebrities has the most loved performance this year.
Interestingly, following Kim Seon Ho in poll votes is the "Semantic Error" star Park Jae Chan while co-star Park Seo Ham came in at third.
As for the Actress category, following BLACKPINK Jisoo in second place is Lee Se Young for her performance in "The Red Sleeve Cuff."
Capping off at third is soon-to-be mother Son Ye Jin for her impressive performance in JTBC's "Thirty-Nine."
It started in 2006, the Seoul International Drama Awards 2022 is scheduled on September 17 which will take place in Seoul. According to the committee's official website, 225 dramas from 39 countries and regions are participating in this year's ceremony.
For the upcoming event, Seoul International Drama Awards 2022 is divided into three categories: Korean(Hallyu) Drama, International Invitation, and International Competition.
For the Korean Drama category, the ceremony will be naming winners for Outstanding Korean Drama, Outstanding Korean Actor and Actress, and lastly, Outstanding Korean O.S.T
With Kim Seon Ho and BLACKPINK's Jisoo leading the poll votes, fans are determined to see the duo walk the stage and accept the trophy.

Kim Seon Ho was nominated for his stunning performance in the headline K-drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" opposite Shin Min Ah, while the BLACKPINK member had her successful acting debut through JTBC's "Snowdrop" alongside Jung Hae In.

The 36-year-old star returned to the theater after headlining the cast of the novel-based play "Touching the Void."
Kim Seon Ho transformed as mountaineer Joe Simpson, together with co-stars Shin Sung Min, Lee Hwi Jong, and Lee Jin Hee.
In addition to this, he is also having his big screen debut through the film "Sad Tropics."
Directed by Park Hoon Jung of "The Witch" movies, "V.I.P" and "Night in Paradise" he will join Go Ah Ra, Kim Kang Woo, and rookie actor Kang Tae Joo as the main characters.
