The former After School member recently gained the public's attention after the images at the press conference for her upcoming Netflix series "Glitch" went viral.

At the media briefing, the singer-actress wowed the crowd as Nana was covered in tattoos with netizens have been guessing if her body art is real or fake.

Unbothered by the public's opinion, Nana once again flaunted her tattoos on Instagram.

In her recent Instagram post, the 31-year-old beauty sizzles in a boss girl vibe wearing a deep-lined suit, showing off her chest tattoos along with a caption featuring a black heart emoji.

In the comment section, fans lauded Nana's unique visuals citing how she perfectly slays her new image.

The singer-actress also shared the behind-the-scenes shoot with co-star Jeon Yeo Been captioning it with a phrase that says "I love you Jihyo" referring to the "Vincenzo" star's character.

The shoot comes ahead of the highly anticipated Netflix series "Glitch" where Nana and Jeon Yeo Been play the lead stars Heo Bo Ra and Hong Ji Hyo.

Cast and Where to Watch 'Glitch'

Penned by the "Extracurricular" writer Jin Han Sae and directed by Roh Deok of "Very Ordinary Couple," "Journalist," and "SF8," the upcoming K-drama is a sci-fi mystery series that follows the story of Heo Bo Ra, who is on the hunt for aliens and Hong Ji Hyo, the one who can see unidentified creatures.

The two unite with a mission of finding Hong Ji Hyo's boyfriend or any trace that could lead to his whereabouts after mysteriously disappearing.

Set to be released on October 7, the 10-part episode K-drama will be exclusively premiering via Netflix.

As for the cast, joining Nana and Jeon Yeo Been in the upcoming sci-fi drama is Lee Dong Hwi as Hong Ji Hyo's missing boyfriend Ma Hyung Woo.

In addition, Jeon Bae Soo from "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" will play Hong Jihyo's father, while Ryu Kyung Soo took the role of Kim Byung Jo.

As Netflix and the cast members gear up for the nearing debut, Nana talks about the public's speculations about her tattoos saying that it was for her K-drama comeback.

According to various outlets, the singer-actress explained that it wasn't just for her drama, and playing the role of Bora isn't the only reason why she had them.

"These are tattoos that I have always wanted," she said, adding that she wanted to make it meaningful through Bora.

Moreover, Nana also shared that she "handpicked each tattoo after careful deliberation."

While tattoos are still taboo in South Korea, there are female celebrities who choose to have them despite the stigma.

Apart from Nana, Han So Hee, Gong Hyo Jin, Bae Suzy, Han Ye Seul, and Jung Ryeo Won also sport body tattoos.
