Kim Hye Soo made a major buzz online after sharing an Instagram photo of the behind-the-scenes for the historical K-drama "The Queen's Umbrella."
Also known as "Under the Queen's Umbrella," the upcoming series is gaining popularity due to its intriguing teaser and interesting cast lineup.
Directed by Kim Hyung Shik of "I am Legend," "The Suspicious Housekeeper," "Twenty Again," "About Time" and "Prince Coffee Lab," the series is Kim Hye Soo's comeback to the small screen after her successful Netflix drama "Juvenile Justice."
Now, she transforms into a true queen in the forthcoming K-drama alongside a roster of talented stars.
Interestingly, the actress gave her 517,000 followers a sneak peek of her upcoming series through an Instagram update.
'The Queen's Umbrella' Director Kneels Before Kim Hye Soo - Here's Why
Ahead of the much-awaited premiere, the actress shared a glimpse of the production featuring "The Queen's Umbrella" director.
In Kim Hye Soo's Instagram post, the actress posted two photos of her and the director of the series' behind-the-scenes.
However, what caught the public's attention is how the director faced the actress who was kneeling in front of her as she did her scenes.
The award-winning actress then explained in the caption why the director opted to kneel. She said that she didn't make "The Queen's Umbrella" director do it, adding, "Our director said it was comfortable sitting in that posture."
With this, fans flocked to the comment section and seconded Kim Hye Soo's explanation saying that the position is much more comfortable than sitting.
Others also cleared that no one and not even the actress was forcing the director to kneel down.

Nonetheless, fans made hilarious comments and said, "The queen who got even the director kneeled down for her," while others mentioned, "I would kneel in front of you willingly."
Cast, Release Date, and Where to Watch 'The Queen's Umbrella'
Kim Hye Soo plays the King's wife, Queen Im Hwa Ryeong, who is also a mother to his five sons.
Apart from being the nation's queen, she is also set to prepare his sons for their responsibilities in the palace.
Joining the 52-year-old actress is Choi Won Young as King Lee Ho, one of the great rulers during the Joseon era.
In addition, lead stars also feature the veteran actress Kim Hae Sook as the King's mother, Queen Dowager. Viewers will get to witness the clash between the two queens as they battle it out for the throne.
Apart from the trio, "The Queen's Umbrella" cast also includes Kim Eui Sung, Moon Sang Min, SF9's Chani, Bae In Hyuk, Ok Ja Yeon, Kim Ga Eun, Yoo Seon Ho, Yoon Sang Hyun, Kim Min Ki, and more.
The 16-part episode series is set to premiere on October 15 and will be the newest Saturday and Sunday drama.
Kim Hye Soo's "The Queen's Umbrella" airs via tvN while subtitles are available through Netflix.
