Award-winning actress Youn Yuh Jung turned down the offer for another season of "Youn's Kitchen."
The reality show, directed by the renowned Na Young Seok, focuses on the stars' transformation as CEO, director, and assistant chef as they set up small Korean restaurants overseas.
After the success of seasons 1 and 2 back in 2017 and 2018, sadly, the "Youn's Kitchen" cast will not be reunited for the third season as the Oscar-winning actress has declined to return for season 3.
Why Did Youn Yuh Jung Turn Down 'Youn's Kitchen'?
Following Youn Yuh Jung's decision not to return for the forthcoming season, Lee Seo Jin is set to headline a spin-off series for "Youn's Kitchen."
As obtained by a media outlet, the actor will be the front runner for "Seo Jin's" with a new concept.
While "Youn's Kitchen" focuses on highlighting Korean dishes, the upcoming spin-off will showcase Korean street food and fast food with a "lighter and approachable menu."
While the production sets up the cast lineup for the upcoming "Kitchen series," previous members Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and Jung Yu Mi, are in talks to join the reality show.
