Jung Woo Sung revealed his BTS bias during the 2022 MAMA Awards.
Hosted by Park Bo Gum and singer Jeon Somi, the annual event was held at Osaka's Kyocera Dome in Japan where nominees such as IU, BLACKPINK, Enhypen, Stray Kids, TXT, (G)I-DLE, NCT Dream, IVE, Le SSERAFIM, NewJeans, and of course BTS attended the ceremony.
Interestingly, the award-winning actor graced the stage to present an award. However, he not only mentioned the name of the category winner but also named his favorite BTS member.
Looking dashing in a sleek glitter suit, the "Hunt" star walked on the red carpet and was greeted by the hosts.
THIS BTS member is Jung Woo Sung's Bias
As for their unique friendship, the veteran actor revealed that he and Jin met by coincidence at a private event.
Jung Woo Sung also pulled a trick at the time and joked that he did not immediately recognize the BTS member and wondered who the star was until he introduced himself.
"I then immediately apologized and joked, 'Of course, I know you, Chairman Jin. I've always recognized you when you were with your members," he said, adding that is where he and Jin started the "Chairman" nickname.
On the other hand, following the success of his movie "Hunt" with good friend Lee Jung Jae, who is also the director of the film, Jung Woo Sung is set to headline an upcoming K-drama "Say You Love Me" with "Reborn Rich" star Shin Hyun Bin.
In addition, he will return to the big screen with an action drama movie "A Man of Reason" alongside Kim Nam Gil and Park Sung Woong.
Adding to the list of his upcoming projects is a special participation in Hyun Bin's "Harbin."
