Lee Jong Suk is ending the year with a bang after winning the grand prize at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards. The actor also made history at the annual awarding ceremony for achieving the highest honor twice.

From Rom-Com King to Daesang King - Lee Jong Suk Gains New Title This Year

On December 30, talented stars gathered for this year's awarding ceremony. After competing in different categories, Lee Jong Suk is named as Daesang winner at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards.

It was a recognition for his impeccable acting in his legal-revenge series "Big Mouth," which was also his comeback drama following his military discharge.

Besides the grand prize, the male star also received the Best Couple Award alongside "Big Mouth" co-star and first-time on-screen partner Im YoonA.

Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk also made his big screen comeback last November in the action-adventure movie "Decibel" together with Cha Eun Woo and Kim Rae Won. The film received massive support from fans in Korea and abroad.

Fans are now looking forward to the actor's upcoming projects in 2023.
