Several Korean actors are preparing for their enlistment this year, but Chae Jong Hyeop surprised his fans after revealing his mandatory military service got delayed.

Chae Jong Hyeop Successfully Concludes First Lead Drama 'Unlock My Boss'
Chae Jong Hyeop just concluded his drama "Unlock My Boss." In his recent interview, the actor shared some of his memorable experiences working with stars who are already veterans in the industry.
The "Nevertheless" star was beyond grateful for the director who involved him in the process, in which he had the opportunity to share his thoughts and opinions while doing the series.
Will Chae Jong Hyeop Enlist?
Meanwhile, as he is already approaching his thirties, Chae Jong Hyeop candidly opened up about enlisting in the military. The actor revealed that he has been diagnosed with epilepsy and has been approved to fulfill his military duties as a Wartime Labor Service Agent.
The position corresponds to Grade 5 in the Military Manpower Administration's physical examination.
The "Hot Stove League" star shared that he first experienced symptoms of epilepsy when he was schooling abroad and was diagnosed in 2018.

He stated that there were times when he collapsed while foaming at the mouth. At that time when he got his physical examination to enlist, he received Grade 4, which means he is unfit for active duty.
But he also cleared that if he doesn't enlist within four years, he has to take another test.
Chae Jong Hyeop said, "Since the military is a sensitive topic, I really wanted to be fully recovered to fulfill my duty. My reexamination date was decided, and I got electroencephalography (EEG), and they said I had epilepsy. But I am still taking medication now."
However, there is no confirmed date yet when Chae Jong Hyeop will enlist in the military as his health condition is priority.
On the other hand, as he is turning five years in the industry since his debut, Chae Jong Hyeop is already one of the most accomplished young actors in his generation.
Meanwhile, following his lead drama "Unlock My Boss," the actor is being courted to reunite with his "Hot Stove League" co-star Park Eun Bin in a new rom-com series.
