Although most of the fans are happy and excited about the upcoming wedding, others were disappointed in Lee Seung Gi for choosing Lee Da In as his soon-to-be wife.
To recall, several fans were not thrilled after the actor confirmed his relationship with the actress. That is because of the controversy surrounding Lee Da In's stepfather.

The actress' step-father Hong Heon was released on parole in 2014 after he was accused of stock price manipulation in another case back in 2016.
With this, fans are worried that it will only taint Lee Seung Gi's clean image that they've protected for 19 years.
However, Lee Seung Gi defended the actress and personally responded to the issue.
"There have been no changes in my stance or affairs since last year's dating news. I didn't comment further on that part, and I didn't feel much need for it," he said and apologized for causing disappointment from fans.
