Jang Geun Suk gets honest as he talks about his comeback to showbiz, 5 years after his hiatus due to military enlistment. However, after being discharged in 2020, the 35-year-old star has not been active in the industry.
Although he did cover various publications, the recently concluded K-drama "Bait" was his return to the small screen.
As the South Korean star graced Vogue Korea, Jang Geun Suk spoke about his realizations in life pertaining to his bold return to showbiz.
Jang Geun Suk Flaunts Youthful Charms for Vogue Korea
Although he is now in his mid-thirties, Jang Geun Suk never fails to swoon women with his youthful charms as he showed off his stunning visuals.
Wearing monotone pieces with colorful hues, the actor looked delivered head-turning poses, exuding a fierce vibe in every photo.
The 35-year-old star is best known for his roles in the 2008 series "Beethoven Virus" followed by "You're Beautiful" in 2009 with Park Shin Hye and the romance drama "Love Rain" in 2012 with Girl's Generations YoonA.
During his interview with Vogue Korea, he also dishes on his realization about his career. Talking about motivation and reality, the actor hints about the highs and lows during his hiatus.
"It took five years to control the weight of the seesaw," he said, admitting that he felt worried about time and having motivation.
"I was anxious because there was time to wander between motivation and reality," he said, adding, "but in the end, I felt that time did not pass, but accumulated."

Jang Geun Suk started his career as a child model. After college, he pursued his dream to become an actor and landed his first ever on-screen appearance in 1997 for "Haengbokdo Pabnida." Since then, he continue to wow viewers with his amazing acting skills and eventually became one of the beloved K-drama actors of his time.
However, through the years that he is in showbiz, Jang Geun Suk confessed his realization. He thought that his continued work would mean praise from the public but that is contrary to reality.
"When I was young, I acted to get a stamp of 'You did a great job,' and I thought doing more work would double the praise," he said.
Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and admitted that he "started to be absorbed by the public's reaction, I forgot the essence."
Jang Geun Suk Transforms Into Detective in 'Bait'
The 35-year-old star's first work since hiatus is headlining the recently concluded "Bait." Aired on January 27 the thriller crime series broadcasted its finale episode on February 10. He is joined by fellow lead stars Lee Elijah and "Squid Game" actor Heo Sung Tae.
"Bait" will return with its part 2 sometime this 2023 and will have 6 episodes for the sequel.
