Actress Jun Do Yeon shed tears while reading a fan letter during the cinema concert of the movie "The Road To Home" which took place in the afternoon of December 9, 2013.
The event took place in the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul.
"The Road To Home" is a movie directed by Bank Eun Jin and is based on a real life story of a Korean housewife who was imprisoned for two years without a trial after she got arrested for allegedly trafficking drugs.
Jun Do Yeon plays the Korean housewife Jung Yeon, and actor Gong Yoo plays Jung Yeon's husband, Ha Jung Woo. In "The Road To Home," Jun Do Yeon plays a typical Korean housewife, Jung Yeon, who is imprisoned in a prison on the Caribbean island of Martinique for getting caught in the Orly airport in France for allegedly trafficking illegal drugs. Actor Go Soo played a role of Jun Do Yeon's husband, Ha Jung Woo, who does everything in his power to uncover Jun Do Yeon's allegations. "The Road To Home" is a thriller movie based on a true story and is directed by director Bang Eun Jin, who also directed "Suspect X."
In addition to Seoul, the film is going to show scenes from the Orly airport in Paris, France, and the female prison in Dominica Nayao.
"The Road To Home" premieres on December 12, 2013.
