Authorities released another update regarding Yoo Ah In's drug-related issue.
After being under investigation due to the use of an illegal substance, the award-winning actor is caught up in another controversy.
The news comes after MBC's News Desk cited that the "Hellbound" star is suspected of using a third drug other than propofol and marijuana.

With this, Yoo Ah In's agency, UAA released a statement after the National Institute of Scientific Investigation detected the third drug on top of marijuana and propofol.
The label said that they were coordinating with the police but they only "received the answer 'We can not tell you'."

Due to this, the agency asked for the public's understanding as they can't disclose further updates regarding Yoo Ah In's drug issue.
"We ask for your understanding that we cannot arbitrarily reveal our position based only on media reports in the absence of any official information from the police," the label says.
In addition, UAA also pointed out that they "have not received any information regarding the future investigation schedule" but mentioned that they "will faithfully cooperate" with the investigation "as soon as the schedule was set."
To recall, Yoo Ah In has undergone investigation after there was suspicion about his habitual propofol use.
Based on the probe, it has been revealed that the actor continually used propofol since 2021.
According to a website, the said substance should be used in a hospital setting and is often handled before and after surgeries.
It helps slows down the activity of your brain and nervous system and is given through an IV.
The effects of it include feeling relaxed and will quickly fall asleep.

Following the probe, Yoo Ah In's current and upcoming projects were also affected by the controversies.
At the height of the issue, the report says that some of his advertisements were taken down.
In addition, there might be changes regarding the release of his soon-to-air projects. It includes "Goodbye Earth," "The Match," and the much-awaited "Hellbound 2."
