Police have found additional evidence after they performed a search in seizure operation on Yoo Ah In's home.

As part of the investigation, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit continues to conduct a probe following the award-winning star's illicit drug use.

On March 7, the actor's estate in Hannam District, Seoul was raided by the police. Apart from it, Yoo Ah In's parents' house in Itaewon also underwent a search by the police.

However, based on the update regarding Yoo Ah In's drug scandal, police uncovered "additional evidence" significant to his case.

As mentioned by a media outlet, authorities gathered "additional evidence" amid the drug issue, but did not disclose further details due to confidentiality.

However, reports said that police confiscated the items during the search and seizure operation.

"We have executed search and seizure warrants at two of Yoo Ah In's residences," an official shared, as noted by a news portal, adding, "However, we cannot reveal any details about the confiscated items as they are still under investigation."

As the probe continues, police investigators are waiting for the complete analysis and plan to summon the South Korean top star later this month.

During the raid conducted on March 7, investigators were welcomed by an empty house with unreceived bills piling up at the doorstep.

The said, search and seizure happened on March 7, started in the morning, and ended around 4.20 PM on the same day. However, police said the actor was nowhere to be found.

On the other hand, Yoo Ah In's neighbors shared their observation and it was revealed that his residence was empty for almost three years. As mentioned by SPOTVNews, his neighbors claimed that they hardly saw the actor after he filmed "I Live Alone" back in 2020. Others believed he might have moved to another residence.

Currently, the award-winning star is making headlines after police suspected him of habitual use of an illegal substance, particularly propofol.

As the investigation began, he was barred from leaving the country but his agency, United Artists Agency (UAA), revealed in an official statement that he was "actively cooperating in all investigations."

However, the drug scandal gained mixed reactions after the actor tested positive for four types of drugs. After undergoing urine and hair strand tests, authorities found traces of marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine substances on his body.

Unfortunately, the issue affected his career, and he reportedly dropped out of his upcoming Netflix series "Hellbound 2."

In addition, traces of Yoo Ah In's endorsement was also removed by brands at the height of the incident.
