Kim Seon Ho will not be headlining the upcoming historical K-drama "Haesi's Shinru."
It's a sad news for Kim Seon Ho's fans - Seonhohadas - as the actor officially declined the offer to star in a webtoon-based series.
To recall, in October 2022, the South Korean heartthrob received an offer to have his K-drama comeback with a historical drama series. At the time, his agency shared that he was positively considering the offer to play the role of Crown Prince.
Why Did Kim Seon Ho Decline the Offer to Star in 'Haesi's Shinru'?
According to a media outlet, the actor's label, Salt Entertainment, that after discussion with the production company, they "ultimately reached an agreement" that Kim Seon Ho will not be participating in the series and decided to decline the offer.
If the actor accepted the offer, this would have been his K-drama comeback, two years after headlining the hit series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" with Shin Min Ah.
Despite the actor declining the K-drama, viewers will get to see the South Korean heartthrob on the big screen as he stars in multiple films this 2023.
Kim Seon Ho will be having his movie debut through the upcoming film "The Childe," also known as "Sad Tropics."

In 2021, the actor confirmed his appearance amid his controversy. Along with Kim Seon Ho are Go Ara, Kim Kang Woo, and rookie actor Kang Tae Joo.
"The Childe" is an action drama movie that focuses on a life story of an aspiring boxer, who is born to a Filipino mother and a Korean father, but was raised in the Philippines. He then traveled to South Korea to find his father, who had abandoned them, but gets caught up after becoming the target of a syndicate.
Another Kim Seon Ho movie that is set to air this 2023 is "Tyrant," penned and directed by Park Hoon Jung of "The Witch" parts 1 and 2, and "V.I.P." He will be joined by top stars Cha Seung Won and a reunion with Kim Kang Woo.
