Yoo Ah In's a past remark about smoking and living a healthy life resurfaced after the top star continue to make headlines due to the drug controversies.

All eyes are now on the award-winning actor as the police undergo an ongoing investigation regarding the "Seoul Vibe" star's involvement with an illegal substance.

After testing positive for various drugs, Yoo Ah In's previous interview circulated online as the public revisited his promise regarding staying fit and healthy.

Yoo Ah In's Instagram Featured the Actor's Promise About Quitting Smoking

According to a media outlet, the actor once talked about quitting smoking and living a healthy lifestyle on social media.

In December 24, 2020, Yoo Ah In's Instagram featured a series of photos of the actor smoking, with a lengthy caption saying that he has been smoking for 17 years.

The post also contains his pledge, declaring his intention to quit smoking.

"If anyone spots me with a cigarette, let me know. I'll pull down my underwear," he added, showing how serious he is to stop the habit.

The award-winning actor is one of the prolific celebrities in K-drama as Yoo Ah In can definitely portray various roles - may it be a protagonist to villain.

However, amid his popularity, thanks to his hit projects, the 36-year-old top star is facing backlash after he tested positive for 4 drug substances.

After undergoing a series of tests, including urine and hair strand analysis, authorities confirmed that Yoo Ahh In took illegal substances after hemp, cocaine, propofol and ketamine were present in his system.

As soon as the authorities confirmed that the actor will go through rounds of investigation, he is barred from leaving the country as the probe continues.

On the other hand, due to the negative publicity, Yoo Ah In's endorsements were taken down by various brands.

In addition, he also stepped down from his role as cult leader Jung Ji Soo in Netflix's bu "Hellbound 2" and was replaced by Kim Sung Chul.
