Following the claims, Star News reported that Yoo Yeon Seok's agency, King Kong by Starship, has submitted complaints to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

Based on the post, obtained by Korea Times, the uploader said that the security guard saw the actor along with his friends who were getting ready to ride a bike.
He tried to talk to Yoo Yeon Seok and asked him if he owned one of the bicycles, but the actor reportedly answered, "Would I ride that crappy bicycle? You think that's mine?" as he pointed his finger to the security guard.
The post also says that the father quit his job due to the humiliation and insults he experienced from the actor.
However, following the agency's warning, the uploader withdrew the claims and said that it was out of "jealousy" since Yoo Yeon Seok "has been getting popular and appearing in more reality shows."
The user apologized to the actor and said that he "didn't expect this to get so big."
