Starring Ji Chang Wook & Shin Hye Sun's Possible Drama 'Welcome to Samdalri' Reveals Start of Production
According to a source, the forthcoming drama "Welcome to Samdalri" (working title), wherein Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun are in talks to, will possibly start filming this April until December.
It has been said that the series might occupy the weekend slot on JTBC.
"Welcome to Samdalri" is a fantasy-romance drama that follows the journey of someone, who appears to be like a dragon magically ascending to heaven, suddenly loses everything they have. They come landing down to earth and must return to where they originated from to catch their breath.
In February, it was reported Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun are courted to headline the project. Both of their agencies confirmed that they received casting offers and are positively considering.

Meanwhile, idol-actress Kang Mina was also reported to join the cast. On March 16, a representative from her agency, Jellyfish Entertainment revealed that the actress received an offer from the drama's producers and is reviewing the project.
"Welcome to Samdalri" will be helmed by "When the Camellia Blooms" and "Forecasting Love and Weather" director Cha Young Hoon. He will join forces with "Go Back Couple" and "Hi, Bye Mama" writer Kwon Hye Joo.

Aside from their potential drama team-up, Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun also have individual projects to air soon.
Before parting ways with his agency Glorious, the actor was already completing his schedules from fan meetings to brand promotions to and drama filming.
Ji Chang Wook's small screen comeback, mystery-adventure series "The Worst Evil," alongside "Squid Game" star Wi Ha Joon, will air anytime this year.
Shin Hye Sun, on the other hand, has a forthcoming movie, "Brave Citizen," where she will share the frame for the first time with Lee Jun Young.
Apart from this, the "Mr. Queen" actress is teaming up with Ahn Bo Hyun for the drama adaptation of the popular webtoon "See You in My 19th Life."
