Kim Tae Ri & Shin Ye Eun Rumored to Star in Historical Drama With Kim Hieora
Following the triumphant conclusion of "The Glory," Kim Hieora has been receiving love calls to appear in new projects.
On April 11, it was reported that Kim Hieora is being courted to join the cast of the upcoming drama "Jung Nyeon" (working title).
In response to the news, her agency confirmed that she received an offer to star in the series and is currently positively considering appearing in the project.
If Kim Hieora accepts the offer, she will work with "Twenty Five, Twenty One" actress Kim Tae Ri and promising star Shin Ye Eun.
What We Know So Far About 'Jung Nyeon'
"Jung Nyeon" is a webtoon-based series set in the 1950s and follows the journey of Yoon Jung Nyeon, a young girl from Mokpo who has no money and comes from a poor background but is born with a talent for singing.
This historical drama tells the occurrences when Yoon Jung Nyeon joins a traditional theater company to fulfill her dreams of becoming rich.
In November 2022, it was reported that Kim Tae Ri was a candidate to headline the drama to play the character of Yoon Jung Nyeon.

In addition, "The Red Sleeve" director Jung Ji In will helm the series and will join forces with "Into Your Time" screenwriter Choi Hyo Bi.
