"Empress Ki" has been at the top for a while and "The Prime Minister and I" became a competitor.
According to ratings company Neilsen Korea on December 10th, MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Empress Ki" rated 20.2% in national records. This is a whole 1.2% higher than the last episode that rated 19.0%.
On this episode of "Empress Ki", Ki Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) devises a strategy to successfully guard Lady Park (played by Han Hye Rin) who was pregnant by Ta Whan (played by Ji Chang Wook).
Ki Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) promoted to a court lady and Ta Whan (played by Ji Chang Wook) was nervous at the news that Wang Yu (played by Joo Jin Mo) had survived who had liked Ki Seung Nyang.
After "Empress Ki" that is keeping number one on Monday and Tuesdays, SBS "One Warm Word" and KBS 2TV "Prime Minister" rated 2nd and 3rd place.
"One Warm Word" rated 1.6% lower ratings than the last episode at 8.4% to be 6.8% with lower ratings. "The Prime Minister and I" had only a 0.9% and will have a tight rate for second place.
"The Prime Minister and I" starring Lee Beom Soo and Yoon Ha rated last at 5.9%. However, this was meaningful because it was 1.8% higher than the last episode of the previous piece, "Mirae's Choice."
On this day of "The Prime Minister and I", entertainment news paparazzi reporter Nam Da Jung (played by Yoon Ha) tried hard to get an article about the prime minister to be Kwon Yul (played by Lee Beom Soo). "The Prime Minister and I" received great reviews as it'll be interesting to see whos' the winner between the healing drama putting forth an affair "One Warm Word" and the comic drama "The Prime Minister and I".
