Cho Yi Hyun Confirmed Her Next Drama 'The Wedding Battle'
New on-screen sweethearts are about to debut on primetime soon, as Cho Yi Hyun confirmed her participation to headline the historical-romance drama "The Wedding Battle."
According to a report on April 17, Cho Yi Hyun will play the role of Jeong Sun Deok, the female lead in the said series.
The historical drama with a twist of romance and comedy will depict the wedding grand operation of a virgin and a miner in the Joseon Dynasty when a widow and her father met. It tells more about a struggling matchmaker in which a man and a woman will work together to marry the representative of virgins of the Joseon Dynasty.
What We Know So Far About 'The Wedding Battle'
Cho Yi Hyun will transform into a widow living a double life as a daughter-in-law in Bukchon at night and a commerce trader during the day. She is a person who not only reads romance novels but also learns martial arts secretly.
Earlier in March, idol-actor Rowoon received an offer to portray the role of Shin Jung Woo and his agency stated that he is currently reviewing appearing in the series.

If he accepts the project, "The Wedding Battle" will be his first drama team-up with breakout star Cho Yi Hyun. In addition to the drama's information, the "Sell Your Haunted House" writer and "Radio Romance" director are joining forces to produce the series.
Fans and viewers are already looking forward to seeing the two stars in one frame and what kind of chemistry they will present on the screen.
Will Cho Yi Hyun Make Her Comeback in 'All of Us Are Dead' 2?
Meanwhile, following the success of "All of Us Are Dead," Cho Yi Hyun immediately rose to stardom and received a lot of love and support from fans. In February, she made her silver screen comeback through the remake movie "Ditto," alongside Yeo Jin Goo, Kim Hye Yoon, Na In Woo, and Bae In Hyuk.
Furthermore, due to popular demand, "All of Us Are Dead" is returning with a whole new sequel soon. Cho Yi Hyun, who is an original cast from the previous season is expected to make her comeback in the upcoming book two.
Other details about the second sequel are yet to be announced by the production soon.
