Yoo Ah In attended the special hearing after authorities planned on filing an arrest warrant against the actor amid his drug charges.
On May 24, at 10:30 a.m., the actor presented himself at the Seoul Central District Court along with his legal counsel. Following the warrant review, the actor opened up about the charges regarding illegal substance use and spoke about the accusations against him.
Yoo Ah In Admits to Some of Allegations Against Him, Except for Helping His Accomplice Leave the Country
In a report cited by a media outlet, Yoo Ah In arrived at Seoul Central District Court wearing a black suit and tie. He also took a minute to answer the media's question regarding the update on his case.
Yoo Ah In was asked by the press regarding cocaine use, to which he replied, "I admit to some parts of the drug charges."

As for the allegation that he tried to help his accomplice leave the country, the scandal-ridden actor answered, "I did not attempt to help accomplices flee away."
In the same outlet, the warrant review started at 11 a.m. Besides Yoo Ah In, Writer A, who is said to be the actor's accomplice and acquaintance, will also be reviewed for a warrant on the same day.
The media is expecting that the review will be completed around this afternoon, along with the decision if authorities will arrest Yoo Ah In and Mr. A due to the drug charges.
Will Yoo Ah In Escape Authorities Plan to File Arrest Warrant?
Since February of this year, Yoo Ah In has been making headlines for his involvement in a drug case. The award-winning actor tested positive for four types of drugs, particularly, marijuana, cocaine, propofol, and ketamine.
As for zolpidem, which is said to be the fifth drug, this is yet to be confirmed since it didn't appear on his urine and hair strand tests, but the medical prescriptions says otherwise.
Police will also investigate if Yoo Ah In's usage of zolpidem, is for medical purposes or not.
As the probe continues, more individuals and acquaintances of the "Seoul Vibe" star undergo investigation. From the doctors, medical staff, and his friends, the police dig deep into the case.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old actor recently faced a warning from the authorities after dodging the second private summon twice.
The initial report states that the actor arrived at the scheduled hearing at Seoul Central District Court but failed to attend the summons after seeing "too many reporters." He also failed to attend the rescheduled session, which prompted police to request the filing of a warrant of arrest.
With the warrant review, it will be determined if the actor attempted to "destroy evidence," as the police are pointing out.
