Yoo Ah In, who is under investigation for violating the Narcotics Control Act, evaded possible arrest following the court's decision.
During the warrant review on May 24, the actor appeared for interrogation along with his legal counsel at around 10 a.m. at the Seoul Central District Court.
Yoo Ah In's Arrest Warrant Rejected by Court
According to a media outlet, after 12 hours, the court released a decision dismissing the request for an arrest warrant against Yoo Ah In.
As mentioned by the news portal, the judge explained that it is "difficult to conclude" whether the actor attempted to destroy the evidence "or escape beyond the scope of the exercise of the right to defend."
Moreover, the court ruling pointed out that "it is difficult to admit the reason and necessity of arrest."

To recall, police have filed a request for the court to grant a warrant of arrest against the actor. It was after he failed to attend the second private summon twice.
Moreover, the Seoul Central District Court decided that it would be best to have the arrest warrant since they consider that Yoo Ah In might possibly "destroy evidence" by trying to help his accomplice flee the country, which he denied.
Prior to the warrant review, the "Seoul Vibe" star briefly answered the questions raised by the media. Yoo Ah In admitted "to some parts of the drug charges" but said that he "did not attempt to help accomplices flee away."
Did Yoo Ah In Lie About His Registered Address?
In a separate report, traces of evidence were found at Yoo Ah In's home, which prompted the police to file the warrant of arrest.
In an exclusive report cited by JTBC, traces of drugs were discovered in the actor's newly confirmed residence. It was after the registered address under his name was not his property.
With this, police have confirmed the actual residence of the actor, which led them to their latest discovery significant to the case.
Since February, Yoo Ah In has been facing countless accusations against him for violating the Narcotics Control Act. As the investigation began, he is barred from leaving the country.
On the other hand, his agency, UAA, shared that the actor will participate during the probe.
Following a series of drug tests, it was found out that he is positive for four types of substances: marijuana, cocaine, propofol, and ketamine.
As for the fifth drug, which is zolpidem, it didn't appeared on the test but appeared on his prescription records.
