The long wait is over for fans of Kim Tae Hee as the Hallyu star is set to return to the small screen, with an interesting team-up with Lim Ji Yeon for "Lies Hidden in My Garden."
After three years since the huge success of "Hi Bye, Mama," the 43-year-old beauty is making a comeback with an exciting and challenging role.
Following the announcement regarding the cast lineup for "Lies Hidden in My Garden," viewers can't wait to see Kim Tae Hee and "The Glory" star appear in one drama.
Kim Tae Hee Reveals What Made Her Accept 'Lies Hidden in My Garden'
Based on the novel "Lies Hidden in My Backyard," the forthcoming series is helmed by Jung Ji Hyun of "Seacr: WWW," "The King: Eternal Monarch," "You Are My Spring," and "Twenty-Five Twenty-One."
The thriller-mystery drama depicts the story of two women who live completely opposite lives. However, they got connected after finding out a mysterious secret in the backyard.
"Thanks to Lim Ji Yeon's presence as Sang Eun herself on the set, I was able to immerse myself more easily into Joo Ran," she added.
"Lies Hidden in My Garden" is Lim Ji Yeon's follow-up project after playing the villain in the smash hit K-drama "The Glory" with Song Hye Kyo. She also took home Best Supporting Actress for her role as Park Yeon Jin.
In "Lies Hidden in My Garden," viewers will get to see a different side of Lim Ji Yeon as she transforms into a battered wife to Yoon Beom, played by Choi Jae Rim.
