However, as she made a comeback to the small screen, viewers pointed out her noticeably thinner look.

In her Instagram update, the South Korean actress showed off different visuals that fans immediately noticed.

While Ryu Hye Young used to have chubby cheeks, her recent posts featured more defined features, especially her cheek bones.

On top of that, some also noticed that she slimmed down more than before.

Although her new physique looks good on her, some can't help but express their concern with her health.

On the other hand, some speculate that her weight loss might be related to her upcoming K-drama.

After "Law School," Ryu Hye Young has been inactive on K-dramas for more than a year.

However, in 2023, the 32-year-old beauty is set to star in back-to-back K-dramas.

Ryu Hye Young New Drama: From 'Adult Kids' to 'The Good Man'

One of the anticipated projects of Ryu Hye Young this year is headlining the cast of "The God Man" together with Lee Dong Wook.

In addition, the romance thriller series will also feature Yoo Jae Myung of "Itaewon Class" and Jo Woo Jin of "Narco-Saints."

With this, Ryu Hye Young was offered the role of Lee Dong Wook's younger sibling.

It depicts the story of the eldest son of a three-generation gangster family, named Seok Chul, who will do everything to protect his family and loved ones.

Interestingly, this will be the second time that she and the Hallyu star have worked together after appearing in the 2022 entertainment program "The Game Caterers Season 2."

Meanwhile, Lee Dong Wook and Ryu Hye Young's new drama will be directed by Song Hae Sung, of "My Wife" and "A Better Tomorrow."

Adding to the list of Ryu Hye Young's new dramas is "Adult Kids."

The news was confirmed by the actress' agency, King Kong by Starship, and hinted at the star's "different appearance" for the series.

Depicting the journey of young professionals in the fashion field, Ryu Hye Young took on the role of a fashion marketer named Baek Han Ah.

She exudes not just elegance but also intelligence and a strong personality.

However, amid her success, she struggles to keep up her relationships with her superiors and her juniors.
