Netflix's "Hellbound" is in the middle of casting problems after one of its actors dropped out of the series.
With the success of season 1, not to mention the cliffhanger ending, viewers are looking forward to the sequel to the webcomic-based series. However, as "Hellbound 2" gears for its release, Netflix revealed that one of its original cast members will not be participating in the sequel.
'Hellbound' 2 Cast: Yang Dong Geun To Be Replaced by Hong Eui Joon
In a report, the streaming giant announced on June 12 that Yang Dong Geun dropped out of "Hellbound 2" due to personal circumstances.
Back in March 2023, Netflix introduced a mix of returning and new cast members joining the upcoming season, which includes Yang Dong Geun, who will appear as Sodo leader.

The 31-year-old actor headlined the rom-com series "Our Beloved Summer," along with Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik, as well as "Do You Like Brahms?" in 2020.
'Hellbound' Season 2 Cast
Amid the changes to the "Hellbound 2" cast, notable stars will continue to join the upcoming sequel.
Kim Hyun Joo is set to return as attorney Min Hye Jin, who will go against The New Truth and the Arrowhead.
Kim Shin Rok reprises her role as Park Jung Ja, who appeared in the last episode of season 1.
Adding to the list of returning cast members are Lee Dong Hee, Yang Ik Jun, and Lee Re as Kim Jung Chil, Jin Kyung Hun, and Jin Hee Jung, respectively.
Meanwhile, Moon Geun Young will have a special role and is set to take on the role of Sunshine Class Teacher and one of The Arrowheads.
As for the story of "Hellbound" season 2, it will focus on the resurrection of Park Jung Ja and the return of Jung Jin Soo.
