Park Bo Young spills secrets behind filming the upcoming movie "Concrete Utopia" as well as her "awkward" encounter with co-star Park Seo Joon.
One of the most highly anticipated movies of 2023, the sci-fi thriller film boasts not just an interesting plot but also a roster of top stars.
During the "Concrete Utopia" press conference, attended by Lee Byung Hun, Kim Sun Young, Park Ji Hoo, Kim Do Yoon, and Director Uhm Tae Hwa, Park Bo Young recalled a funny experience where she felt uneasy with Park Seo Joon.
Helmed by Uhm Tae Hwa of "Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned," "Concrete Utopia" is based on part 2 of the webtoon "Joyful Outcast."
It is a disaster thriller film that depicts the story of survivors in Hwang Goong Apartments after a devastating earthquake.
Amid the catastrophic incident that affected millions of residents in Seoul, the said building was the only structure left after the disaster.
In the upcoming movie, Lee Byung Hun plays Young Tak, who acts as the survivors' temporary leader. His responsibility is to protect the people and the building from outsiders.
Meanwhile, Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young played married couple Min Sung and Myung Hwa.
Ahead of the press conference, "Concrete Utopia" released the movie's first trailer, piquing the interest of the viewers.
Meanwhile, "Concrete Utopia" is slated to hit the big screen this August.
