Lim Ji Yeon went honest as she talked about her greatest insecurity. It turns out that even someone as famous and stunning as "The Glory" star can sometimes feel self-doubt and see the flaws in herself.

Interestingly, she managed to turn things around and embraced this.

How Lim Ji Yeon Embraced Her Insecurity

During her guest appearance in SBS' program "Disarmament," the 33-year-old actress spoke about having realizations after her years of working as an actress.

According to the actress, she used to hate her deep voice and thought that it was manly compared to others.

"I didn't know how to use my voice properly in the past. I used to hate my voice back then and wondered, 'Why does it sound so manly?" she said, as obtained by a news portal.

However, as she got older and played in various projects, Lim Ji Yeon said that she loves her voice now.

Embracing it helped her change her mindset in acting, and she said that she "feels more responsible" for her work.

Speaking of work, the actress also mentioned her notable movie "Obsessed," which was her first big-screen project.

"I met the director, and he said my image suited the genre," she recalled, adding. "He cast me after looking at my eyes only."

Because of the story's premise, the actress saw this as a way to "challenge" herself. To recall, "Obsessed" became controversial at the time due to its erotic scenes.
