Based on the webtoon "The Girl Downstairs," "Doona" depicts the story of a former K-pop star who chose to leave the spotlight amid her soaring fame.

She is the main vocalist of a popular K-pop group but abruptly announces her decision to quit music.

With no career, Lee Doona struggled with the aftermath of her decision, which prompted her to move to a shared apartment.

Interestingly, this is where she meets her roommate, a college student named Lee Won Joon, played by Yang Se Jong.
