'Destined With You' Episode 16: Police Arrests Na Jung Beom

Lee Hong Jo pretended to be drugged as she purposely wanted to get Na Jung Beom arrested. Jang Shin Yu and the cops arrived but found out that the two were missing.

Shin Yu gave appropriate evidence and got Kwon Jae Kyung safely out of the mess. Jae Kyung then decided to work at the Blue House as many politicians approached him after the case.

Lee Hong Jo's colleagues Ma Eun Yeong and Gong Seo Gu tied the knot while Shin Yu's friend Kim Wook quit the law firm and joined Shin Yu's mother in the film.

Meanwhile, when Sam Sik gets into trouble with the police, Shin Yu decides to be his legal lawyer so he can save him. Jae Kyung moved out and regretted rejecting Hong Jo's confession.

Hong Jo said that love is a collaboration of timing and destiny and that one will soon come his way. They bid farewell to each other.

Jang Shin Yu Proposes to Lee Hong Jo

Soon, Jang Shin Yu bought the entire house and moved into the first floor along with Hong Jo. Shin Yu's parents and Eun Wol came for breakfast and urged them to get married.

However, they stated that they were not ready for it. The Shaman mentioned that they will soon have a daughter but Shin Yu replied saying that Hong Jo wasn't pregnant.

Shin Yu's mother surprised everyone with her announcement that she was pregnant and would have a child. Shin Yu was shocked and choked on his food.

Later on, the couple went to the beach and Shin Yu asked Hong Jo's father whether he could have her hand forever. He proposed to Hong Jo and the two got engaged.

They buried the spell box at the place it was found and thanked it for making them meet each other. Time-skip the couple happily walked together in a field. Indeed, Lee Hong Jo and Jang Shin Yu had a happy ending.

It was revealed that Mu Jin (Rowoon) was the one who buried the spell box so that 300 years later, their reincarnations could meet.
