On the morning of October 19, Rowoon met the members of the press while on his way to Incheon International Airport. The celebrity surprised the public with his mid-long hair and stylish airport outfit.
The heartthrob left Seoul for Tokyo Japan, as he is said to attend a solo schedule overseas. Multiple media outlets shared snaps of the actor, and fans were quick to notice the actor's transformation.
Rowoon to Challenge Himself in Comedy Genre Through 'The Matchmakers'
Meanwhile, Rowoon concluded his fantasy-romance drama "Destined With You" with success. He even topped the most buzzworthy K-actor list along with on-screen partner Jo Bo Ah.
The idol-actor will have his immediate small screen comeback this October 30 as he headlines KBS' historical-romance series "The Matchmakers."
According to the leading man, he chose this series as his next project to challenge himself in the comedy genre. As per Rowoon, since he already worked in various genres such as romance, fantasy, mystery, and thriller, he wanted to express a new side of himself in comedy.
What We Know About Rowoon's Upcoming Historical-Romance K-Drama
"The Matchmakers" tells the chaotic yet captivating story of a young widower Shim Jung Woo and a young widow Jung Soon Deok and the struggle they'll encounter to marry off Joseon era's unmarried women and men who are considered older than the typical prime age range.

Rowoon takes the role of Shim Jung Woo, a widowed son-in-law of the king who is genius enough to become the youngest person to pass the Civil Service Exam. However, despite his incredible intellect, is a person of misfortune as his future wife passes away during their wedding ceremony.
Opposite him is breakout star Cho Yi Hyun, who will play the character of Jung Soon Deok, the second daughter-in-law of a wealthy family who lives a double life as Mrs. Yeo Joo, known as the best matchmaker in Hanyang City.
Through the trailers and teasers released by the broadcasting company, fans and viewers are excited to see what kind of chemistry these two will exhibit on screen. Despite working for the first time together, expectations are high for both stars.
