"The Escape of the Seven" teases viewers with the special appearance of Kim So Yeon.
Ahead of the show's 9th episode, SBS announced that "The Penthouse" star will be joining the K-drama for a cameo. However, this time, the broadcast network dropped still cuts featuring the actress.
From the creators of "The Penthouse," the thriller-crime K-drama "The Escape of the Seven" focuses on the revenge following the disappearance of a high school student who gets caught up in the lies, ambition, and tragedy of the people around her.
The Makjang series is headlined by Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Yoo Bi, Lee Joon, Shin Eun Kyung, Jo Yoon Hee, Yoon Jong Hoon, and Jo Jae Yoon."
Interestingly, this is the third project together of director Joo Dong Min and writer Kim Soon Ok after working on "The Last Empress" and "The Penthouse" trilogy.

The award-winning actress takes on the role of Ryu Hong Joo, Cherry Entertainment's top actress.
In the series, Yang Jin Mo, played by Yoon Jong Hoon, is the CEO of Cherry Entertainment.
Things are getting intense as the series jumps into the second half of the season.
After learning that Chairman Bang Chil Sung is still alive, the seven find their way to end things with him. Interestingly, one of them was an ally of Matthew Lee, and thanks to Min Do Hyuk, they were able to escape from the viscous plan of the seven.
Unfortunately, Chairman Bang chose not to leave the area after seeing Bang Da Mi's remains. The incident is devastating to Matthew Lee, especially how he is grateful for Chairman Bang, who helped him set his grand revenge.
In the upcoming episodes, Matthew Lee's eagerness to finish the seven might escalate, especially now that he is grieving for the loss of Chairman Bang.
Viewers could also expect more interaction between Matthew Lee and Min Do Hyuk after it was revealed that he is working for him.
