Following the allegations against Lee Sun Kyun, the actor is currently dealing with challenging repercussions due to his involvement with illegal drugs.
After authorities named the "Parasite" star as the celebrity behind "Actor L," who was investigated due to drug-related activities along with seven other individuals, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit is paying close attention to the actor.
Lee Sun Kyun, G-Dragon to Face Travel Ban
According to reports, authorities confirmed that Lee Sun Kyun as well as G-Dragon are under a travel ban as approved by the Ministry of Justice.
The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's drug crime investigation team also mentioned that they will soon be conducting various tests on these celebrities to determine the type of drug that they used and the number of times they took it.
Other than the travel ban, police also confiscated the mobile phone of the head of the membership room salon in Gangnam, who is connected to G-Dragon and Lee Sun Kyun.
It can be recalled that the "Dr. Brain" star was booked by the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit on October 23 for marijuana and psychotropic drug use.

Lee Sung Kyun has been accused of using significant amounts of drugs at the membership room salon in Gangnam since the start of 2023.
Due to this, his career was put on hold, which affected his upcoming projects and brand deals.

South Korea is known to have strict rules over drug issues, especially for celebrities.
Just like what happened to Yoo Ahn In, it seemed like See Sun Kyun also faced the same fate.
After authorities confirmed his involvement with drug allegations, brands have started to pull out their endorsements that showcase Lee Sun Kyun and his wife, Jeon Hye Jin.
All advertisements for supplement brand CellMed with Lee Sun Kyun as their model were removed from their official site; the same goes for SK Telecom and SK Broadband, who selected the couple as their ambassadors.
In addition, Lee Sun Kyun also dropped out of the upcoming K-drama "No Way Out."
According to a report, his agency released a statement confirming that the actor voluntarily stepped down as one of the cast members due to the unfortunate incident.
"The production team agreed to accept the actor's stance in agreement with the management. Filming is currently underway as scheduled and will not be postponed," the statement reads.
On top of it, with all the setbacks on his current and upcoming projects, Lee Sun Kyun is also predicted to face a heavy amount of penalty for breaching endorsement deals.
In a separate report, pop culture critic and commentator Kim HeonSik, explained that "penalty fines related to advertising are so substantial that they are expected to be in the range of 10 billion KRW (7.4 million).
