Park Seo Joon To Meet International Fans in Cinemas Through 'The Marvels' This November
In the upcoming release of the film "The Marvels," many are anticipating, of course, Park Seo Joon's appearance since it will be his first-ever American big-screen project.
The movie is set to hit the cinemas beginning November 8 in South Korea. However, ahead of its debut, Park Seo Joon is said not to join in the future activities of the movie's cast.
"The Marvels" follows the story of Captain Marvel Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Park Seo Joon is expected to take the role of Captain Marvel's husband, Prince Yan, and steal the international audience's attention.
In the previous trailer, the actor has already shown his strong presence as a long-haired prince.
Park Seo Joon is the third Korean act to appear in a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) work after Soo Hyun of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in 2015, and Ma Dong Seok of "Eternals" in 2021.
In particular, the "Fight for My Way" star is known to have joined "The Marvels" through an active love call from director Nia DaCosta, who is known as a fan of his last drama "Itaewon Class" which was released to 190 countries through Netflix.

Park Seo Joon To Not Join in Promoting 'The Marvels'
However, despite the hype, it was reported that Park Seo Joon will be unable to participate in the promotional event related to his appearance on "The Marvels."
Sadly, this is due to the aftermath of the Hollywood Actors' Union SAG-AFTRA strike, which has been going on since July 14.
Park Seo Joon is not a member of the Hollywood Actors' Union, however, most of the actors in "The Marvels" are members of it, and the K-drama star plans not to promote with the other cast in a way that respects their opinions.
However, Director Nia DaCosta and producer Mary Livanos will be at the forefront of promotion. Earlier in 2023, the two hinted at Park Seo Joon's role in an interview with the U.S. film magazine "Total Film" saying that the "Midnight Runners" star is a clear ally of Captain Marvel.
It has been said that Director Nia plans to hold a video interview with domestic reporters ahead of "The Marvels" international release.
