Congratulations are pouring for Park Bo Young after she won the Best Actor Award at the 8th London Asian Film Festival. On November 1, media outlets announced the good news, and adding to the back-to-back celebration, promising star Hong Sa Bin also took home a title from the prestigious ceremony.

The 8th London Asian Film Festival, which opened on October 18, concluded the film festival with the screening of the film "Concrete Utopia" and the subsequent award ceremony on October 29.

For this year's festival, 49 entries of the most outstanding films from eight Asian countries, including Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, added significance to the event.

Park Bo Young bagged the Best Actor Award in recognition of her performance in the disaster movie "Concrete Utopia." After receiving the trophy, the actress, who graced the red carpet of the closing ceremony, received enthusiastic cheers from British fans.

The Korean star remarked, "I am so grateful and honored because it is my first award abroad."

Meanwhile, Hong Sa Bin of "Hopeless" also known as "Hwaran" won the Rising Star Award for his solid acting in his first lead film as well and expectations for his future performance grew. During his speech, the young actor thanked his senior Song Jong Ki for all the help and advice he gave to him.

In particular, three hours before the red carpet walk, Park Bo Young and Hong Sa Bin greeted their international fans and shared short but memorable moments with them. They even took photos and had an instant fan signing at the event.

Park Bo Young is making her comeback on the small screen through the series "Daily Dose of Sunshine."

She takes the role of Jung Da Eun, who cares deeply about her patients and experiences personal and professional growth after being transferred from internal medicine to the mental health department. Her life also starts to change as she meets new people in her new ward.

"Daily Dose of Sunshine" is a webtoon-based series that is also based on the real-life experiences of a psychiatric nurse that follows the story of nurse Jung as she meets people with wounded hearts.

The heartwarming drama is expected to grace the screen beginning November 3 on Netflix.
