Kim Hae Sook on Being Called the 'Nation's Mother'

Kim Hae Sook, known for her mother or grandmother roles, earned the title "Nation's Mother" for playing the character in various dramas and being the on-screen mother to several actors.

From being the charming mother of Yoo Yeon Seok in "Hospital Playlist," the doting grandmother of Bae Suzy in "Start Up," to being the strong and, not to mention, wealthy grandmother of Lee Yoo Mi in "Strong Girl Namsoon," the veteran actress never fails to amaze viewers with her performances.

According to Kim Hae Sook, portraying the role of Bang Bok Ja was a "refreshing" feeling from her usual roles.

"When I play the role of a mother, I feel a greater sense of responsibility. Bokja was a mother who had never been seen before."

Other than the duo, viewers will get to see Kang Ki Young and Hwang Bo Ra as supporting cast members.

"Our Season" is directed by Yook Sang Hyo of "He's on Duty," and penned by "Thirty-Nine" writer Yoo Young Ah.
