Ji Suk Jin Announces Hiatus From 'Running Man'

While packed with various variety show commitments, Ji Suk Jin is said to make adjustments to his schedule beginning this December.

On December 18, Ji Suk Jin's agency Esteem Entertainment informed the public about the TV personality's decision and current status.

As of this writing, the "Running Man" production team has not released any statement yet regarding Ji Suk Jin's temporary hiatus, and what plans they have for the upcoming broadcast of the program.

Following Jeon So Min's departure in November, the variety show has been struggling to earn high viewership ratings. However, despite the actress' decision to leave, the production team tries to fill in the gap by inviting different stars to make guests in the show.

In the previous "Running Man Tazza Special" aired on December 3, the team invited BTS V and Yoo Seung Ho as special guests. During the broadcast, Ji Suk Jin showed his close bond with the idol-actor.

The 57-year-old variety show master has been part of "Running Man" since 2010 and has been with the team for more than a decade already.
