'Mickey 17' Postpones March Release to Enhance Production
According to various reports on January 10, it was announced that Director Bong Joon Ho's new film "Mickey 17," which is counting for March release, has canceled its Hollywood release.
It has been said that famous American entertainment media such as Variety confirmed that Warner Bros has decided to postpone the release date of the award-winning director's work. In addition to the reports, Warner Bros decided that it needed more time to complete "Mickey 17" due to Hollywood's strike happening in 2023.
Many international fans and film enthusiasts are already excited to see Bong Joon Ho's next masterpiece. Ahead of its possible premiere, "Mickey 17" is already attracting attention as it marks Bong Joon Ho's first film following the success of "Parasite" in 2019.
Even though the postponement was announced, the release date of the film itself has no specific date yet and viewers might have to wait a little longer.
"Mickey 17" is based on the novel published in 2022 by Edward Ashton. The sci-fi thriller movie will star Hollywood stars Robert Pattinson, Steven Yuen, Tonic Collete, Naomi Ackie, and Mark Ruffalo.
It is set in the future and narrates the story of The Expendables, a disposable employee of a human exploration team sent to dominate an ice planet.

Previously, the production team already gave the viewers a sneak peek of the much-awaited movie through a cryptic teaser in which the expendable woke up in a chamber.
