Lee Jin Wook Worries About Young Fans Who Make Marriage Proposals to Him

In the "Salon Drip" episode on YouTube, hosted by Jang Do Yeon, the comedian welcomed "Sweet Home" stars Song Kang and Lee Jin Wook as her celebrity guests.

During the interview segment, Lee Jin Wook revealed that he has been receiving a lot of marriage proposals from fans. However, it alarmed him, and showed concern when he observed that they come from a younger generation.

Lee Jin Wook Reminds Fans Not to Idolize Characters With Bad Habits

As the conversation continued, Jang Do Yeon wondered which of his characters drew them to him. It further confused the actor too because he's been playing villain roles for "Sweet Home" and "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls."

When thinking of those roles, Lee Jin Wook wanted fans to raise their standards and aim for healthier love interests.

"I have not done a romantic drama in a while. So I want to tell the fans, 'You shouldn't have such taste.'"

Even though fans and viewers got immersed in Lee Jin Wook's acting, he reminded them not to idolize characters with unhealthy habits and bad qualities.

After he graced the screen and reprised his role in the Netflix original series "Sweet Home 2," Lee Jin Wook is making his immediate return again on the small screen with another exciting and big project.

Lee Jin Wook is confirmed to join the star-studded cast of the long-awaited second installment of the megahit series "Squid Game 2."

In June 2023, the drama's production already named the actors and actresses who will be part of the big production. Apart from Lee Jin Wook, other stars who are expected to be in the second chapter of the drama are Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, Park Gyu Young, Jo Yu Ri, Won Ji An, T.O.P, Noh Jae Won, Kang Ae Sim, and David Lee.

Original cast members Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, and Wi Ha Joon will make their return to the series.

It has been said that "Squid Game 2" has already begun production. However, its official release is yet to be announced.
