Jeon Jong Seo Takes Hallyu By Storm With Bridal Transformation

On January 18, the Hallyu scene was shaken after tvN dropped Jeon Jong Seo's photos in her brand new acting role in "Wedding Impossible."

The actress, who cemented her name in the industry with her flawless resume of action and thriller K-dramas, is now widening her horizon by taking on the romance genre.

"Wedding Impossible" tells the story of a fake marriage between an unknown actress and her best friend, and how it gets sabotaged by her future brother-in-law who opposes their union.

In the show, Jeon Jong Seo plays Na Ah Jung, an actress who only plays minor roles which makes it hard for her to rise to the top. Because of this, she does a lot of side jobs to get by.

When she's asked to marry her best friend, although fake, she can't pass up the chance to fulfill a role she hasn't done before and finally be the one in charge of her life.

tvN released Jeon Jong Seo's transformation, proving that she's able to take on diverse roles. Her bright smile compliments her beautiful white wedding dress, raising anticipation for her romantic K-drama.

"Jeon Jong Seo looks so ethereal," one fan commented. "She should do a lot of romantic dramas in the future."

To recall, the actress' filmography is filled with girl crush works like "The Call," "Burning" and "Ballerina." Through the new tvN work, Jeon Jong Seo is expected to reinvent her image. Catch "Wedding Impossible" this February 26 at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN.

Jeon Jong Seo To Lead New Historical K-drama

Besides "Wedding Impossible," Jeon Jong Seo is also gearing up for her new period romance series "Queen Woo."

She takes on the titular role opposite Ji Chang Wook, and it depicts the hardships of the matriarch queen as five large tribes plan to take over the royal throne after the king's demise.

"Queen Woo" marks Jeon Jong Seo's first-ever historical drama, and she's expected to showcase a never-before-seen side of her as the firm yet feminine role of Woo Hee, the queen.

In addition, the chemistry between Jeon Jong Seo and Ji Chang Wook is a factor to check out in the series. It's slated to air some time this year on TVING so stay tuned for more updates.
