'Captivating the King' Episode 3: Kim Myung Ha Keeps Kang Hee Soo's Secret

In "Captivating the King" Episode 3, Kim Myung Ha (Lee Shin Young) doesn't reveal Kang Hee Soo's (Shin Se Kyung) identity. However, he insists on joining her and Lee In (Jo Jung Suk) in their Go session.

This leaves Lee In disheartened, making him question the two men's relationship. Meanwhile, Kim Myung Ha threatens Kang Hee Soo that she will be tortured for disguising as a man.

At the palace, the king declares that they know who the spy is. However, nothing about their identity is revealed. Instead, they announce that Lee In's master is the one who sent the spy.

Grand Prince Lee In's Safety Is Jeopardized

Lee In feels grateful for his master's efforts in protecting him. Unbeknownst to him, his master is Kang Hee Soo's father. After the latter overhears this, she stays away from Lee In.

Later on, the king orders for Lee In's master's arrest and interrogation even though the king knows the truth himself. He also arrests all Go players in search of Kang Hee Soo.

They interrogate and worse, torture, all witnesses to reveal the Go player's name. When Kang Hee Soo learns about this, she immediately disguises herself and makes an appearance.

Kang Mong Woo Makes An Appearance

Kang Mong Woo arrives at the palace but Kim Myung Ha, the king's son, refuses to make her appear before the king as he doesn't want her to get tortured.

Thankfully, Grand Prince Lee In arrives on the dot, demanding to stop the torture of the innocent and interrogate him instead.

He then goes to the king's chamber while danger awaits him. The king acts greedily, knowing that Lee In knows the truth, and soon attacks him.

During their fight, Lee In gets a hold of the king's sword and surges it through the king's neck to finally stop him, ending the episode with high tension.
