Shin Do Hyun To Make Hollywood Debut This 2024
On February 2, the new installment of Netflix's "The Recruit" announced that its production begins this year.
It's a Netflix spy action series that follows a rookie lawyer who gets entangled in the high caliber world of spies after he joins the CIA legal office.
The work is headlined by Noah Centineo, popularly known as the Netflix Prince, after his role in the mega hit "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" trilogy.
What's interesting about Season 2 is the participation of South Korean stars which attract much attention not only in the Hallyu scene but also in other parts of the world.
"The Recruit 2" earlier announced the appearances of "Past Lives" superstar Yoo Teo and "Daily Dose of Sunshine" actor Lee Sang Hee, which raised excitement among the fans.
Netflix introduced South Korean rising actress Shin Do Hyun, the new addition to the ensemble. Although relatively unknown, she is ready to show her acting prowess.
She's expected to be the highlight of Season 2 where she portrays Lee Yoo Jin, a vivacious character who is connected to Noah Centineo's childhood, and is predicted to captivate the viewers.
On the other hand, "The Recruit 2" begins filming this 2024. There's no news about its release date yet so stay tuned for more updates.
Shin Do Hyun's Rise To Stardom & What We Know So Far
Shin Do Hyun began her career as a model and a commercial actress in 2017. In the same year, she starred in Park Won's music video for the song "All of My Life."
This opened a lot of doors for the artist, and was able to actively participate in web dramas. In 2020, she received her breakthrough role in the mega popular drama "Hospital Playlist."
Shin Do Hyun played an emergency medicine fellow, and left a lasting impression on the viewers. She even received high praises from Yoo Yeon Seok, one of the leads of the show.
Unbeknownst to many, she spent three years in the US during her high school years. Her proficiency in English helped her land a role in Noah Centineo's acting work.
With this, anticipation is high for the rookie as she elevates her career as a global star.
