Park Eun Bin's Rumored Fee Per Drama Episode Increases

As two of the most buzzworthy Korean stars today, Han So Hee and Park Eun Bin are gaining popularity not just in Korea but also abroad, which led them to be in-demand actresses.

In January, their rumored talent fees became a topic on various online communities and later on, led to a debate among K-netizens.

Based on the news cited by a media outlet on February 1, Park Eun Bin's updated fee for her forthcoming series "Hyper Knife" is reportedly to touch a whopping $224,000 (300 million KRW) per episode.

Even though the amount is still in the negotiation process, industry insiders said that the actress is worth any amount as long as it is within a reasonable range.

Thanks to her back-to-back megahit K-dramas "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "Castaway Diva," Park Eun Bin's popularity skyrocketed both domestically and internationally. Due to her explosive popularity, it is indeed possible for a considerable hike in her appearance fees.

According to a source, the actress reportedly received $120,000 (160 million KRW) per episode in her latest drama "Castaway Diva." However, according to other media insiders, it is customary in the industry to increase the fee of an actor/actress by 1.2 to 1.3 times if their previous work is successful.

It has been said that for the "Hot Stove League" star, the increase might reach 100% if the negotiations allow it.

Han So Hee's Close Amount of Talent Fee With Park Eun Bin Despite Years Gap in Their Career

On the other hand, Han So Hee, another top star dominating the industry today reportedly received about $149,000 (200 million KRW) per episode in her new series "Gyeongseong Creature."

Even though the breakout star is one of the most well-known faces in the Korean entertainment industry, this work is only her fourth one in terms of a lead role. Due to this, netizens drew comparisons with veteran stars IU and Suzy, speculating if their drama appearance fees would be even higher.

While Park Eun Bin and Han So Hee's talent fees left people shocked, many felt that the "My Name" star was more surprising, knowing that her career just started compared to Park Eun Bin, who has been in the business for a decade already.

Hence, the majority of netizens expressed their understanding, reasoning that Han So Hee's talent fee is justifiable given her widespread popularity, most especially in the global markets.
